Meet Dr. Lorri Nichols

Dr. Lorri NicholsI admit, I was a skeptic. But after a lower back injury in college, my mom suggested that I see Dr. Dave Kreinbrook, the local chiropractor. My mother had suffered from migraine headaches for years until she discovered the benefits of chiropractic health care and insisted that I give it a chance. It was incredible. Not only did the adjustment relieve my lower back pain, but I noticed a dramatic improvement in my overall health within weeks of treatment. That’s when I decided I wanted to be a chiropractor. read more»

Meet Dr. Jolene Gagnon

Dr. Jolene GagnonChiropractic interested me so much because it was different from every other approach that I had seen. I didn't experience any miracle story but saw so many patients that were helped by a chiropractor when no one else could help them. I am a certified chiropractic extremity practitioner (CCEP) and enjoy incorporating other areas of the body outside the spine into treatments. The body works as a unit from the feet up and so treating the extremities is a whole different realm of chiropractic. Chiropractic is not only for back pain. Whether you are an athlete who is constantly challenging your body or you wish you could be more active, I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your goals.   read more»

Dr. Lorri Asks some important questions of interest to Federal Way residents - Chiropractor Federal Way Dr. Lorri Asks...

What's the difference between chiropractic and medicine?
Medical treatment focuses on the disease or the symptom. Chiropractic focuses on the person with the disease or the symptom. Medical treatment usually involves changing blood chemistry. Chiropractic involves restoring nervous system integrity. Medical doctors prescribe medicine. Chiropractors adjust the spine—a common source of nervous system interference.
Are chiropractors just concerned with the spine?
Our interest in the spine is because it covers the major communications conduit between your brain and your body. As a Federal Way chiropractor my job is to locate areas (usually along the spine) that interfere with proper nerve communications to and from your brain. Chiropractic adjustments help restore nervous system integrity. In this way, chiropractic care can affect the function of your entire body.
